Our team of software developers will collaborate closely with the Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) teams in Germany, ensuring seamless integration across both locations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Robotics Frontend Developer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing user-friendly, intuitive web applications that interface with automated factory systems. Effective teamwork and collaboration across different time zones and continents are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain C# .NET applications tailored to automated factory environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different time zones and continents to define, design, and deploy new features and improvements.
  • Ensure high performance, quality, and reliability of applications.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in the system.
  • Maintain code quality, organization, and automation processes.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development environment.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, System Design Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Preferred (but not required): Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, System Design Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a C# .NET Software Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
  • Experience with .NET frameworks (e.g., .NET Core, ASP.NET).
  • Knowledge of ROS or comparable automation frameworks.
  • Familiarity with industrial automation, IoT, and embedded systems is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience in distributed teams.

Office Location: This is an in-person position based in Vaughan, ON, Canada. The role requires occasional travel to the factory in Bramalea, ON, as well as to the testing facility in Hamilton.
