Our team of software developers will collaborate closely with the Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) teams in Germany, ensuring seamless integration across both locations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and motivated Angular Frontend Developer to join our innovative team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing user-friendly, intuitive web applications that interface with automated factory systems. Effective teamwork and collaboration across different time zones and continents are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Angular-based web applications tailored to automated factory environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across various time zones to define, design, and deploy new features and improvements.
• Ensure high performance, quality, and reliability of web applications.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs in the user interface.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation processes.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a collaborative development environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, System Design Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Preferred (but not required): Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, System Design Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer with strong expertise in Angular.
• Strong understanding of web development best practices and design patterns.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with industrial automation, IoT, and embedded systems is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with experience working in distributed teams.

Office Location: This is an in-person position based in Vaughan, ON, Canada. The role requires occasional travel to the factory in Bramalea, ON, as well as to the testing facility in Hamilton.
