From analysis to defect detection

VIBRATION

Vibration
0 db
Vibration Data
The structure-borne noise travels from the emission source
to the gear unit housing where it is detected by the acceleration
sensor. Over 3,000,000 measured values are acquired per day.
The system analyses 34,904 spectral images daily.
A human would need about 30 working days for such a task.
Order analysis
The frequency spectrum would "smear" at variable speed.
Different FFT methods and a complex order analysis allow
for a meaningful vibration analysis to be carried out for each
component even at variable speeds.
Trend Curve
The trend results from the calculation of the amplitude values
for each component and their specific orders.
With the running-in behavior of new drives, a decrease
of the trend is normal. The trend stabilizes in the
operating phase and the typical "bathtub curve"
for the lifetime of the components is achieved.
Teach Mode
After startup, the automatic teach-in starts and the system
determines the application-specific limit values for each
component without further action.
The "teach-in mode" is indicated by blue coloring of the result
display.
After the automatic teach-in process, the system has
calibrated itself, the blue coloring disappears, and
monitoring begins.
Defect Detection
Characteristic defect frequencies are calculated from
the kinematic conditions.
The contact of a damage generates a structure-borne sound.
As a result, the amplitude values of the error frequencies
increase. If the teached limit value is exceeded, an error
is generated. Monitoring the relative trend course prevents
the influence of disturbances.

HOW DOES THIS HELP WITH MAINTENANCE ?

Direct localization in the timeline

FOR STARTERS

IT CAN MEASURE

0

AND….

DriveRadar® ANALYSES

0

SPECTRAL IMAGES DAILY

AND….

THAT’S EQUIVALENT TO

0 Hours

MAN HOURS.

AND, SO WHAT ‘S IN IT FOR YOU?

SMART CONDITIONING MONTIORING 24/7
